This Privacy Policy explains how TorqueAI ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and our AI chat assistant service (the "Service"). If you have questions, email [email protected].

Information we collect

• Account & billing details you provide when signing up — your name, shop name, email address, and phone number.
• Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it directly.
• Shop configuration — the business details you enter on your setup page (services, hours, address, tone, greeting) so the assistant can answer your customers.
• Chat conversations — messages exchanged between your website visitors and the assistant, including any contact details a visitor chooses to share (such as name, phone number, and vehicle).
• Basic technical data — standard information such as IP address and request logs generated when pages and functions are accessed, used for security and reliability.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service, including generating assistant responses and delivering captured leads to the relevant shop owner — by email for the website widget, or as a note on the contact inside your CRM if you use our GoHighLevel app.
• To process your subscription, free trial, and billing.
• To provide support and respond to your messages.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. We share only what is needed for them to perform their function, and we do not sell your personal information:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Anthropic — the AI model that generates assistant responses. Chat messages are sent to Anthropic to produce replies.
• Netlify — website hosting and storage of shop configuration data.
• Resend — sending transactional emails such as your welcome email and lead notifications.
• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — only if you install our GoHighLevel marketplace app. The reply and the lead are written back into your own GoHighLevel account; we send nothing about you to any other GoHighLevel customer.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Information from your website visitors

When you add the TorqueAI assistant to your website, conversations your visitors have with it are processed through the Service as described above and the resulting leads are emailed to you. As the shop owner, you are responsible for handling that customer information in line with applicable laws and for telling your own customers how their data is used.

The GoHighLevel marketplace app

Our GoHighLevel app is a separate way to use the same assistant: instead of a widget on your website, it answers customer messages that arrive in your own GoHighLevel account. It is free of charge. This section describes exactly what it touches.

What we read from your GoHighLevel account

• The sub-account's own business profile — name, phone and address — used once to pre-fill that shop's assistant settings so you do not have to retype them.
• Inbound customer messages delivered to us by GoHighLevel for the channels the assistant answers (SMS, live chat, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Business Messages and custom channels). Email threads are not read or answered.
• The list of sub-accounts under your agency, if you installed at the agency level, so the settings page can show you your shops.
• An access token issued by GoHighLevel when you approve the install. It is kept in access-controlled storage and used only to make the calls described here.

What we write back into your GoHighLevel account

• The assistant's reply, posted into the same conversation the customer messaged on.
• A note on that customer's contact record containing the captured lead (name, phone, vehicle, what they need). The app does not send a separate email or text alert — the note in your CRM is the notification.

What we do not do. We do not read your email, your calendars, your payments, your other contacts, or any conversation the customer did not start with the assistant. We do not use your data or your customers' messages to train AI models. We do not share one sub-account's data with another, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it. Recent messages in a conversation are kept so the assistant has context for the next reply, along with your shop settings and the install record. Uninstalling the app from GoHighLevel deactivates the install and the assistant stops answering; email [email protected] to have the stored settings and conversation history deleted outright.

How to stop it at any time. Switch the assistant off for a shop on its settings page (it goes silent immediately), or uninstall the app from the GoHighLevel marketplace, which revokes our access.

Cookies

Our marketing website uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. Our checkout provider (Stripe) may set its own cookies during payment. We do not use the marketing site for cross-site advertising tracking.

Data retention

We keep account and configuration data for as long as your account is active. We retain information as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your data by emailing us.

Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
